Our family has been personally touched by Alzheimer’s. That’s why supporting the fight against this disease isn’t simply another cause for us — it’s personal.
Each year, the Nikolakopoulos family comes together with friends, customers and local businesses in honor of Peter’s mother, Maria Nikolakopoulos, to raise funds and awareness for the Alzheimer’s Association.
What began as something deeply personal has grown into something much bigger — a community of people coming together around a disease that has touched so many families.
Raised for the Alzheimer’s Association
With the incredible support of our extended Pomodori family, friends and local businesses, our fundraising efforts have helped raise more than $150,000 for the Alzheimer’s Association.
Our annual event at Turner Hill has been a significant part of those continued efforts.
Each year, we gather at Turner Hill in honor of Maria to raise funds, build awareness and support the work of the Alzheimer’s Association.
It’s also an opportunity to celebrate community — friends, families and local businesses coming together around a cause that affects millions of people.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has attended, donated, sponsored or supported the event over the years.
The Alzheimer’s Association works to advance research, increase awareness, advocate for people affected by Alzheimer’s and provide support to individuals and families living with the disease.
We hope the money and awareness raised through our community can play a small part in moving that work forward.
To every friend, customer, employee, sponsor and local business that has supported this effort: thank you.
Every donation, sponsorship, ticket and helping hand has contributed to something that means a tremendous amount to our family.
We hope you’ll continue standing with us as we support the fight against Alzheimer’s in honor of Maria.
